Young blood raring to go

The fresh faces Manchester City will turn to for the Stamford Bridge clash.

MANU GARCIA, SPAIN, 18

David Silva, no less, marked his countryman out for stardom this season, highlighting not only the attacking midfielder's "very good skills" but his attitude, too. Signed from Sporting Gijon in 2014, he has played twice for the first team this season, scoring in the League Cup win over Crystal Palace.

ALEIX GARCIA, SPAIN, 18

Brought to the club from Villarreal last summer and fast-tracked into the first-team squad thanks to City's injury troubles. He is expected to partner Fernando in the heart of City's midfield.

ANGELINO, SPAIN, 19

The left-back returned to his parent club after a spell with New York City to appear as a late substitute against Aston Villa. He is rated by Patrick Vieira as "one of, if not the best" player in City's youth-team system.

BERSANT CELINA, NORWAY, 19

A Norway Under-21 player, Celina is expected to play wide on the right after appearing for a few minutes in the victory against Villa. He has been at City for more than three years.

BRANDON BARKER, ENGLAND, 19

The England Under-20 winger has long been heralded as one of the brightest prospects in City's academy and was given an improved contract - running until 2020 - at the start of the season.

EXPECTED TEAM (4-2-3-1)

W Caballero; P Zabaleta, N Otamendi, M Demichelis, Angelino; Fernando, A Garcia; B Celina, M Garcia, A Kolarov; K Iheanacho.
