SINGAPORE – From World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) to chess, motor racing, golf and now football, Saudi Arabia has splashed the cash on sports entities, competitions, teams and athletes in recent years.
With the impending merger of the PGA Tour and the breakaway LIV Golf, one could say that the Gulf state has bought an entire sport.
