S'pore U-23s may boost bid to play in Asiad with a good result in his first match in charge

He will make his Singapore Under-23s debut tonight, but once the referee blows the first whistle, Fandi Ahmad will find himself in the dugout.

It might be only a friendly against Indonesia's U-23 side but Fandi, who is the Republic's U-23 coach, was as excited as when he won his first senior cap with the Lions back in 1979.
