Singapore's national age-group football teams have performed miserably over the last 18 months, but few could have foreseen the new low suffered by the Under-19 team on Saturday.

Playing in the Asean Football Federation (AFF) Under-19 Championship in Gresik, East Java, the team, coached by Dutchman Robbie Servais, were steamrolled 5-0 by regional minnows Laos.
