GUNNERS SNAP UP KOLASINAC ON A FREE

Arsenal have signed Schalke left-back Saed Kolasinac on a free transfer, the Premier League club said yesterday.

The 23-year-old German-born Bosnian international signed a deal at The Emirates which runs until 2022. He represented Germany at youth level before deciding in 2013 to play for Bosnia, his parents' homeland, and has 17 caps.

Meanwhile, Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny wants to extend his stay after completing two loan spells at the Serie A club, Roma president James Palotta said.

PEPE TO LEAVE REAL, PSG KEEN

Real Madrid veteran Pepe will leave the club after 10 years, with Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) reportedly favourites to sign him.

The 34-year-old told Spanish radio station Cope: "I didn't say goodbye to (manager Zinedine) Zidane because Zidane and Real Madrid knew I was going before I did."

Under Zidane, the Portugal international had limited minutes, with Raphael Varane or Nacho favoured to partner captain Sergio Ramos in central defence.

TORRES CLOSE TO MEXICO MOVE

Atletico Madrid striker and free agent Fernando Torres is set to join Mexican club Queretaro, reported ESPN.

Negotiations with the 33-year-old former Liverpool and Chelsea player are "very advanced," according to ESPN, and a move to the Liga MX club could be confirmed this week.
