The ball struck the inside of Kalidou Koulibaly's left knee, bounced off his right one before dropping to the ground. It was not the most graceful defending, but replays showed the Senegal player did his job - and well within the rules of football.

This was November 2016 and in the 40th minute of a Fifa World Cup qualifier between Senegal and South Africa in Polokwane.
