Jurgen Klopp's answers can be lengthy, stream-of-consciousness affairs, but he was at his most succinct in his analysis of Manchester United's tactics last Sunday.

"They just defend," the Liverpool manager said. If it struck some as an unfair interpretation, it raised the question if Ole Gunnar Solskjaer found a strategy others can emulate to frustrate Klopp and his team.
