Local sports governing body Sport Singapore (SportSG) has taken responsibility for an incident which saw the lights turned off during an Under-19 football match, blaming the lack of flexibility of its staff at the facility.
The Football Association of Singapore (FAS) Centre of Excellence (COE) match between the FAS Football Academy (FFA) Under-19s and Warriors FC U-19s was abandoned after two of the stadium's four floodlights were turned off at 9pm, in the 69th minute of the April 10 fixture.
