Singaporean Akbar to coach Chennai city

His first task is to lead I-League side against ex-Spurs striker Keane in Indian Super Cup tie

The next time Akbar Nawas takes his place in the dugout, he will have to prepare a plan to stifle the talents of former Tottenham forward Robbie Keane while also pitting his tactical nous against the Irishman.

The Singaporean coach has signed a two-year contract with Chennai City, the top-tier I-League team who will take on player-manager Keane's Indian Super League (ISL) side ATK next Friday in a qualifier for the inaugural Indian Super Cup. He replaces Indian V Soundararajan.
