Fifa's criminal complaint against e-ticket reseller

ZURICH • Football's world ruling body Fifa has filed a criminal complaint against online ticket reseller Viagogo, saying it wanted to protect fans and prevent unauthorised ticket resales at the World Cup Finals in Russia starting next week.

Fifa said yesterday it filed a complaint with the public prosecutor's office in Geneva after receiving complaints about the Swiss-based company's practices.

Russia-bound Serbia fall to late winner by Chile

PARIS • Guillermo Maripan scored the winner three minutes from time as Chile beat World Cup-bound Serbia 1-0 in a friendly on Monday.

Maripan knocked in a Marten Rodriguez cross from close range in the 87th minute for the only goal of the game in the Austrian city of Graz. Serbia are in Group E with Brazil, Switzerland and Costa Rica when the World Cup kicks off on June 14.

Morocco's pedigree on show against Slovakia

GENEVA • Morocco's Ayoub Kaabi and Younes Belhanda scored in a 10-minute second-half spell to give the World Cup-bound side a convincing 2-1 win over Slovakia in a warm-up friendly on Monday.

The North Africans, who play Spain, Portugal and Iran in Group B in their first appearance at the Finals since 1998, displayed slick passing against the Slovakians as they extended their unbeaten run to 11 matches.
