SINGAPORE - The inaugural RHB Singapore Junior Football Programme kicked off on Sunday morning (July 2) at the Jalan Besar Stadium.

Initiated originally as the 'Little Kicks Big Difference' football programme in 2008, the event saw 129 boys and girls from RHB's clients, staff, Muhammadiyah Welfare Home and Gambas Community Sports Club participate in a football clinic.

During the two-hour class, the kids, aged seven to 12, were taught a variety of football techniques under the guidance of coaches who have undergone the Football Association of Singapore's (FAS) grassroots coaching course.

The event was attended by FAS president Lim Kia Tong, council member Lim Tong Hai and the Malaysian banking group's chief executive officer and country head of Singapore, Mike Chan.
