The first Chinese Singaporean outfield national footballer to earn a professional overseas contract, Gabriel Quak now owns the honour of being the first Singaporean to score in Thailand's top-tier league.

The winger scored the first equaliser in the 19th minute for Navy Football Club in Wednesday's 3-2 win over Sukhothai that saw them rise to 11th in the 18-team Thai League 1.
