Mohamed Salah putting away the 50th-minute penalty he earned at Brighton yesterday after being hacked down by midfielder Pascal Gross. It earned the Premier League leaders their first win this year, after setbacks at champions Manchester City in the league and at Wolverhampton in the FA Cup third round. The Reds have 57 points to extend their lead to seven points over City, who host Wolves tomorrow.
