It is 4.30pm on Sunday, half an hour before training. The Lions troop onto the Geylang Training Field one by one to prepare for the Asean Football Federation (AFF) Suzuki Cup, which kicks off this week.

Current national football captain Hariss Harun walks past Shahril Ishak but not without addressing the 34-year-old former skipper as "Boss".
