Singapore billionaire Forrest Li is expected to take over from Winston Wong as Home United chairman in what could be a harbinger of change for the local football scene.

Ahead of the new Singapore Premier League (SPL) season, The Straits Times understands that the two-time champions will unveil their new chairman, a name change, and other significant updates this week. The club, who have also claimed a record six Singapore Cups, declined to comment when contacted yesterday.
