SINGAPORE - Liverpool fans in the local sports fraternity rejoiced as their team were crowned English champions for the first time in 30 years on Thursday (June 25).

Jurgen Klopp's men won the title after Manchester City lost 2-1 to Chelsea at Stamford Bridge to hand the Reds an insurmountable 23-point lead with just seven games left.
