SINGAPORE - Liverpool last won the league in 1990, the year I was born, so I had never seen my team win the league.

My father and uncle are Liverpool fans so my younger brother, cousin and I grew up following the Reds. We learnt about the anthem, the fans' passion, which all rubbed off on us.
