After two years plying his trade in Thailand, where the learning curve was steep, Izwan Mahbud was presented with an opportunity to come home.

It would have made financial sense and also placed him back in his comfort zone in familiar surroundings but the Singapore No. 1 has opted to continue testing his abilities as a footballer.
