Striker arrives yesterday from Norway, raring to go as S'pore begin World Cup qualifying

There is no time to waste, not when your name is Ikhsan Fandi and your country's football team need you to score goals.

After a near 18-hour journey from Oslo, the 20-year-old, the only Singapore international playing professionally in Europe, was whisked away by his mother Wendy Jacobs and driven straight from Changi Airport to Geylang Field yesterday.
