Kids playing in the Plate final of the S. Chandra Das Cup six-a-side futsal competition at the FutsalArena@Yishun yesterday. Organised by Tamil Murasu and backed by the People's Association's Narpani Pearavai or Indian Activity Executive Committees Council, it featured 20 teams of children aged 10 to 12. The winning Buona Vista 'A' team took home prizes worth up to $1,200. Mr Das, Singapore's High Commissioner to Sri Lanka, attended the event as the guest of honour.
