Ramchand N. Jagtiani was walking on air yesterday, after receiving two business class tickets to Luang Prabang, Laos.

The accounting firm director had won a readers' contest jointly conducted by SilkAir and The Straits Times last week.

The contest was held to promote tomorrow's Causeway Challenge between Singapore and Malaysia. The regional carrier is a sponsor of the football friendly.

He said: "It was an awesome surprise to win the business class tickets and I'm really grateful to both The Straits Times and SilkAir for the prize.

"I'm looking forward to a great experience flying on SilkAir to Luang Prabang, as it is a heritage city with an illustrious history and possibly ancient secrets and stories to discover."
