The event, aimed at helping the needy as well as encouraging volunteerism, saw the players, including new signings Gabriel Quak (left) and Faritz Hameed (right), distributing over 15,000kg of rice to an estimated 1,900 households together with Minister for Social and Family Development Tan Chuan-Jin (in red). They also gave out biscuits, instant noodles, and Milo drinks, among 15 other donated items. Other participants helped spring-clean 40 rental flats occupied by the aged or the physically challenged.
