S-League football club Geylang International yesterday signed a memorandum of understanding at the Marina Bay Floating Platform with Matsumoto Yamaga, who currently play in Japan's second-tier football league. The partnership, made possible by Epson, which sponsors both teams, could see Geylang send players and technical staff to Yamaga for loan stints and attachments. Geylang chairman Ben Teng and Yamaga general manager Yoshiyuki Kato were present.
