Football: Plans for training base abroad for best young Singaporean players

SINGAPORE - An overseas training base could be set up for the best youth footballers to further develop themselves as part of the Unleash The Roar (UTR) project, Sport Singapore CEO Lim Teck Yin revealed.

The UTR was unveiled in March as a plan to lift football standards with the goal of having Singapore qualify for the 2034 World Cup.
