SINGAPORE - As the race for the Singapore Premier League (SPL) title this season reaches a potential climax on Friday with a top-of-the-table battle between Lion City Sailors and Albirex Niigata, plans are under way for next season to look quite different.
This includes an extended league season which is likely to be at least 10 months long, and the return of former champions Brunei DPMM.
