SINGAPORE - Whether it is Mark Hughes, Andy Cole, Dwight Yorke, Wayne Rooney, Dimitar Berbatov or Robin van Persie, the great Manchester United sides that won 13 Premier League titles always had top strikers.
With United in seventh position and scoring just 16 goals in 12 league games, a prolific marksman is exactly what the Red Devils are lacking at the moment as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer rebuilds, and former United stalwarts Wes Brown, Teddy Sheringham and Yorke expect the Norwegian manager to sign someone that fits the bill soon.
