Singapore were held to a 0-0 draw by Hong Kong on Tuesday evening at the Hougang Stadium.
The friendly match was their second international friendly in four days, and served as a final warm-up before their Asian Games football competition, which kicks off on Sunday. The team beat Papua New Guinea 2-1 on Saturday.
The first-half was a drab affair, with neither side getting close to scoring. The visitors had the slight edge, troubling Singapore with their high-tempo pressing and clever movement.
The Lions started the second-half better. Striker Sahil Suhami should have scored from a Shahdan Sulaiman cut-back, but blazed over the bar instead. Singapore kick off their Asiad campaign against Tajikistan on Sunday.
