Singapore Lions football team captain Hariss Harun told The Straits Times that the team would have liked to play and train more at the National Stadium to be more familiar with the pitch.

SINGAPORE - The National Stadium has been marketed as the "Home of the Lions", but the Singapore football team will train on its pitch only once ahead of their Nov 9 Asean Football Federation (AFF) Suzuki Cup opener against Indonesia.
The Straits Times understands that just like the visitors, Fandi Ahmad's men will be allocated one on-pitch session at the Kallang venue the day before the match.
