Football fans chomping at the bit for the latest round of international matches to end were treated to something exciting: a nostalgic game of rock-paper-scissors between Scotland's James Morrison and Germany's Christoph Kramer during their countries' Euro 2016 qualifier on Monday.

As Germany's physios tended to Kramer's injured teammate Marco Reus on the pitch, the pair were spotted at the background sneaking in a discreet round, with Kramer losing as he showed "scissors" to Morrison's rock.

Two goals from striker Thomas Muller ensured the Germans scraped past their opponents 2-1, but that was undoubtedly the standout moment from the match.

One can only wonder who initiated the game first, and whether was there a wager behind it?
