SINGAPORE - A free football clinic was conducted by Bayern Munich youth coach Thomas Dollner at Clarke Quay on Sunday (June 11) afternoon.

The 55-year-old is in town as part of Football in the City, a series of events held in June and July in the lead-up to the International Champions Cup.

Bayern will be playing both Chelsea and Inter Milan in the competition. The three matches will take place on July 25, 27 and 29.

In addition to the free football clinic, there were trick shots by SG Tekkers, a trick shot face-off between Dollner and retired Singapore international Aleksandar Duric, as well as another football clinic conducted by the two men for ActiveSG academy children.

"I'm looking forward to the event, I think it'll be a great event with top teams playing each here in this beautiful city and great stadium," said Dollner.

"I think it's going to be a huge success for this city and of course an event that we are very much looking forward to as a club."

"I think I can speak for the players, they are looking forward to Singapore, because last year they travelled to the United States, played in three locations there and this year it's the Asian trip."
