The new National Stadium at the Singapore Sports Hub will host an international football friendly between Brazil and Japan on Oct 14.
The match against the defending Asian champions will likely be new Brazil head coach Dunga's first game in charge.
Ex-Brazil captain Dunga replaced Luiz Felipe Scolari last month after a disastrous World Cup campaign, which culminated in the proud football country suffering a humiliating 7-1 semi-final defeat by eventual winners Germany.
This is Dunga's second spell in charge of the Selecao, and the friendly will give him a chance to restore the confidence in a shattered team.
Malcolm Thorpe, World Sport Group's vice-president of Sports Development & Events, said: "WSG is thrilled to be staging this blockbuster match between the five-time World Cup winners and the Asian champions - this will be another historic event for Singapore."
Ticketing details will be released at a later date.
