LONDON - After being criticised for two much-publicised incidents of smoking, Arsenal and England midfielder Jack Wilshere has reignited talk of the player's perceived lack of discipline.

Pictures have emerged online of the 23-year-old allegedly holding a shisha pipe at a nightclub. He is currently on the sidelines at the Emirates Stadium, recovering form ankle surgery after he suffered an injury in the defeat by Manchester United on Nov 22. He is however set for a return to the first team in a few weeks.

The picture, which was reportedly taken last week at a London nightclub, was uploaded on Instagram, before being removed. But it has since reappeared on Twitter.

Wilshere had previously been pictured with a a cigarette, first outside a London nightclub in Oct 2013 and again last year in Las Vegas, where he was on holiday.

Wilshere's latest episode follows revelations that Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny lit up in the showers after the 0-2 defeat by Southampton on New Year's Day. The Poland goalkeeper has since been dropped from Arsenal's first-team.

Arsenal coach Arsene Wenger had come out quite strongly to criticise both players.
