The 186th north London derby arrives before either team have settled into the new season. This, historically, is the highest-scoring contest in the Premier League era - and the way that Arsenal have been spending on attack but not defence, coupled with the uncertainty running through Tottenham, could mean the 5-4 scoreline by which the Gunners won at White Hart Lane 15 years ago is not beyond repetition.
