Goals from Lautaro Di Lollo and Rodrigo Battaglia gave Boca Juniors a 2-0 win over Aldosivi in Mar del Plata on Sunday as the visitors stretched their winning streak to three matches in the Argentine Clausura tournament.
Boca are third in Group A with 12 points from seven matches, while Aldosivi are rooted to the bottom in 15th place.
Defender Di Lollo opened the scoring moments before halftime, heading in Carlos Palacios' pinpoint cross.
The visitors doubled their advantage in the 80th minute when Battaglia powered home another header, this time converting a superb delivery from World Cup winner Leandro Paredes.
"We managed to win on a difficult pitch, and the weather didn't help," Battaglia told ESPN.
The midfielder also took the opportunity to praise Paredes, who rejoined Boca from AS Roma in July.
"We're happy, we've been working well and we have to keep it up. We were coming off a very bad streak and we managed to turn it around. Lea's arrival helped us a lot," he added.
