MOSCOW - When England goalkeeper Jordan Pickford saved superbly from Mario Mandzukic at the end of the first half of extra time, and sank his studs into the Croatia striker's knee, it looked like it was going to be The Three Lions' night at the Luzhniki Stadium on Wednesday (July 11).
But there is no such thing as fate or destiny in football, or in life for the matter.
