Tigers write in to FAS after incident between Hougang GM and teen midfielder Vrebac

Balestier Khalsa have lodged a formal complaint with the Football Association of Singapore (FAS) against Hougang United general manager Matthew Tay for allegedly slapping one of their players after a Singapore Premier League (SPL) game on Wednesday.

According to Balestier, Tay hit their 18-year-old Austrian midfielder Sanjin Vrebac as the player and his team-mates walked over to the Hougang bench to shake hands with officials after the match, which Balestier won 2-1.
