Football: Tampines Rovers sack coach Bacina and marquee signing Wagner

S-LEAGUE champions Tampines Rovers have sacked their coach Nenad Bacina after mixed results this season.

The Stags have also released their marquee signing, Argentinian defensive midfielder Martin Wagner, and Serbian striker Sead Hadzibulic.

Stags technical director Tay Peng Kee has been put in charge of the team in place of Bacina.

Although Tampines currently lead the S-League, their early exit from the group stages of the Asian Football Confederation Cup and last week's 0-4 thrashing by Balestier Khalsa prompted the club's management to wield the axe.
