The LionsXII are now just 30 minutes away from Malaysian Super League glory, after three goals within 15 minutes in the second half put the team 3-0 ahead of Felda United.

Felda's Azrul Ahmad first headed Shahril Ishak's free kick into his own net in the 47th minute, before the LionsXII captain converted one of his own in the 58th minute.

Fazrul Nawaz then confirmed the hosts' superiority in the 61st minute at the Jalan Besar Stadium in front of a sell-out crowd.

A win in this match, the penultimate league game of the season, will see the LionsXII crowned champions of the 2013 MSL. It will be Singapore's first Malaysian league title since 1994.
