A host of former English Premier League (EPL) footballers have arrived in Singapore to parade their skills at the IG Masters 6's tournament.

The competition, to be played at the Singapore Indoor Stadium this Sunday afternoon, will feature the former star players in four teams: Singapore, Liverpool, Manchester United and an EPL All Star side.

Household names such as V. Sundramoorthy, Robbie Fowler and Louis Saha are set to take fans down memory lane.

"Last year, the local fans initially supported the EPL stars but later on, they were cheering for the local boys," said Sundram, who is best known for his tricky backheels and bicycle kicks.

Ex-Liverpool star striker Fowler added: "Singapore is a lovely place but why we are here is because of the football. Once we are on the pitch, the winning mentality kicks in."
