Football: Barcelona's Alba, Xavi and Vilanova to travel to Paris

MADRID (AFP) - Xavi Hernandez and Jordi Alba will travel with Barcelona for their Champions League quarter-final first leg at Paris Saint-Germain on Tuesday after returning to full training on Sunday.

And there was further good news for Barca as the club confirmed that manager Tito Vilanova is set to the return to the sidelines for the first time since January in the French capital.

"Xavi Hernandez and Jordi Alba will travel to Paris," said a statement on the

club's website. "The midfielder has recovered from a hamstring strain in his right leg and the full-back has received the medical all clear on Sunday morning.

"It is expected that manager Tito Vilanova will travel to Paris."

Vilanova only returned to Barcelona last week after undergoing cancer treatment in New York for the previous two months.

The 44-year-old was not on the sidelines for the trip to Celta Vigo this weekend as Jordi Roura continued to deputise, but he did take training on Sunday and looks set to make his return at the Parc des Princes.
