Jonathan Chan remembers crying and wanting to stop training after feeling the pain of a belly flop landing when he started diving.

Eight years on, the 21-year-old simply heaves a sigh of resignation after a belly flop, gets out of the pool, and makes his way up to the diving board to do it all over again.
