The Singapore Sports Hub is due to open in June and the buzz is building. The venue, which includes the National Stadium and an aquatic centre, is fast filling up its events calendar for the year.
It will open with World Club 10s rugby on June 21 and 22, and work its way through a variety of sporting and entertainment events including the Asian Netball Championship from Sept 7 to 4 and a Jay Chou concert on Nov 8.
The Straits Times Run at the Hub on Sept 28 will also be the first time a run will end inside the new stadium.
Here is a sneak peek at how the $1.3 billion venue is progressing.
