Clements-trained trial-winning filly duly obliges first-up by 3 lengths as $8 favourite

Like Singapore Turf Club broadcaster Luke Marlow said, the trial was there for everyone to see.

The Michael Clements-trained three-year-old newcomer Celavi already drew attention when the filly won her trial on Sept 19 with authority. Few young unraced arrivals clocked below a minute for the Kranji 1,000m at the trials but Celavi stopped the clock at 59.25sec, carrying 65kg.
