Cazorla and Mourinho return: Joy and not so joyous

Whether or not sport really does mirror life, the extremes of the past week in football have been almost irreconcilable.

Santi Cazorla's return to the Spanish national side, as a playmaker and goalscorer, is proof that when a player loves his game he can come back from horrendous injury that would finish lesser men. The Achilles injury that wrecked his career at Arsenal, turning gangrenous and requiring eight operations, is finally behind him. The little magician, a month shy of his 35th birthday, is back for Villarreal and Spain. Such joy.
