Bowling: World champion Shayna Ng makes it two wins in a row

Singapore bowler Shayna Ng won the International Bowling Championships at Inazawa City in Japan on Sunday. She beat American Kelly Kulick, 35, with a score of 248 to 201 in the final for the top prize of 6,000,000 yen (S$81,760).

That makes it back-to-back victories for the 23-year-old, who last month won the QubicaAMF Bowling World Cup.

Said Ng: "It's really awesome to win this tournament. Winning at the World Championships played a huge role in my victory today. It boosted my confidence."
