Bowling: Keglers bag 3rd medal at Asian Youth Tenpin Bowling C'ships

For the third straight day of competition at the Asian Youth Tenpin Bowling Championships in Macau, Singapore's keglers finished on the podium.

The pairing of Javier Tan, 18, and Jaris Goh, 19, bagged a silver medal in the boy's doubles with a score of 2,763 pinfalls on Thursday. They finished 51 pinfalls behind champions Qalif Adnor Adam and Rafiq Ismail of Malaysia who managed 2,814 pinfalls.

The Filipino duo of Ivan Malig and Enzo Hernandez were third with a score of 2,690.

Javier had won the boys' singles bronze on Tuesday and 19-year-old Joy Yap finished second in the girls' singles event a day later.

The 10-day competition ends on Tuesday. The girls' doubles event is next and starts on Friday.
