Singapore side Blooies were victorious at the 11th edition of the Lion City Cup ice hockey tournament, a four-day competition which concluded yesterday at The Rink at JCube. They beat fellow local team Ice Crusaders 2-0 in the final to win the Asian division title. Russian debutants CCCP Totachi lived up to their pre-event favourites tag by clinching the men's elite trophy, while Indonesian side Batavia Demons and Filipino outfit Philipinas triumphed in the men's open and women's divisions respectively. Fifteen teams from seven countries took part in the competition.
