Leading means nothing in sport. You have to finish it, seal it, end it. Leading is just a tease, it's never a guarantee. Leading takes you almost there but there are no prizes for almost. Leading is what the Slingers did for most of last night in the Asean Basketball League Finals. First 9-0, then 35-25, 44-40 at half-time, 65-58 after the third quarter, 79-76 with 3min 35sec on the clock.

But they can't close and the Knights from Indonesia won't kneel. The visitors win 84-81.
