Local actor Chase Tan will travel to the Philippines next month as part of the supporting cast - not for a film but to help Singapore clinch a medal at the SEA Games basketball competition.

The 29-year-old, who played for the Singapore Slingers from 2010 to 2015, has returned to the national team, who are seeking a podium finish at the Mall of Asia Arena in Manila.
