SINGAPORE - The Singapore Slingers extended their winning streak in the Asean Basketball League to seven in a row after beating Pilipinas MX3 Kings 63-57 in a thrilling game on Sunday that went into overtime.

The current league leaders were not at their best at the OCBC Arena but a buzzer-beating shot in the fourth quarter from Filipino import Kris Rosales evened the scores at 56-56.

The Republic's team then held on to eventually defeat the Flipino team, who currently sit at the bottom of the table.

The Slingers next play defending champions Hi-Tech Bangkok City at home next Sunday in a top-of-the-table clash.
